The Dura-Ace R9170 Road Disc Brake combines the Di2 9170 shifters with the Hydraulic 9170 brake calipers for a combination of smooth and speedy shifting with powerful and efficient braking. This kit comes pre-bled and ready to use with shifter, hose, caliper and pads. The 9170 shifters feature an ideal ergonomic shape that is comfortable in the hand and similar in size to mechanical braking versions of the shifter. The shift paddles now also feature a more defined "click" for confidence in shifting and to prevent mis-shifts. E-Tube compatibility means that the shift paddles can be customised to suit the rider. The 9170 shifters now include Synchro-shift technology that automatically moves the rear derailleur when the front ring is changed or moves the front chainring with the rear shifts to optimise chainline and drivetrain efficiency. The 9170 brake calipers have been tuned to perform optimally in road racing conditions. They feature the Shimano Flat Mount system for a sleek and aerodynamic profile and Ice Tech pads for improved heat dissipation.
